Lubavitch of Radlett  is one of more than 2,500 branches of today's largest international organization involved with Jewish education and outreach programs. Embracing the philosophy of the Chabad Lubavitch Movement, which originated in the town of Lubavitch in White Russia during the 18th century, Lubavitch's underlying doctrine is "Ahavat Yisrael" (love for a fellow Jew). Lubavitch recognizes no differences between Jews; its goal is to serve the spiritual and physical needs of each Jew regardless of affiliation, wherever he or she may be, with understanding and with love.

Under the direction of Rabbi Sendy Dubrawsky and his wife Rochel, Lubavitch of Radlett, founded in April 2007 as a branch of Lubavitch of Edgware, established by Rabbi Leivi and Feige Sudak, offers Shabbat & Holiday events, youth programs, adult education courses, community holiday awareness celebrations and hospital and home visitations.

There are no prerequisites for getting involved with Lubavitch. Whether you are affiliated or not, have much Jewish background or none, you are always welcome to try one or all of our programs. We are here to welcome you and we will do our best to help you and your family. You do not have to be a member at Lubavitch, you do not even have to agree with everything Lubavitch says or does. Chabad Lubavitch  welcomes people of of all ages and at all stages of their Judaism.

After 10 years in Radlett, Bayit opened in October 2017, as an extension and continuation of our activities in the area.

Bayit - from the hebrew word for home - is a gathering space for the community. Mummy and baby groups, JUDA after school classes, teen classes and social events, lunch and learn, ladies' book club, learning events and communal festival celebrations all take place at Bayit, bringing the community together to celebrate the beauty and joy of being Jewish.

Stop by for a chat with the rabbi, pick up a book or Jewish newspaper, or enjoy a quiet coffee and kosher snack. Bayit has a homely and welcoming feel, with comfortable spaces to sit and relax.

In addition, we have a wide and constantly changing array of Judaica items, for Shabbat, Festivals, Bar and Bat Mitzvas, and more, as well as Tefillin and mezuzot for sale and checking service. Accompanied by a selection of cards, gifts of all prices and for all occasions, for all ages, can be found here, or ordered specially for you.

Bayit Chabad Lubavitch Hertsmere aims to serve all Jews in the area.
